Justin Smits | Co-Owner
I began my investing career in 2011 with tax lien investing and diversified over the years into rehabbing houses, rentals, and private lending. In 2015, I transitioned to a full-time investor with a focus on wholesaling houses. In 2016, I joined Adrien Chabot as an owner of Region Home Buyers.
Together we’ve been buying 100 or more houses annually in the Northwest Indiana area. Our focus is on finding off-market deals to wholesale, rehab or keep as rental properties. I love helping people who want to sell a property without waiting months or years to close. If you have questions about your situation or a specific property you want to sell, we will listen and answer any questions you may have.

Adrien Chabot | Co-Owner
Real estate has been a passion of mine since I was a teen after seeing my uncle purchase and manage several small multi-family properties. I became a landlord by default in 2012 when I turned my personal residence (which was heavily upside down) into a rental. In 2015, I left my position as an insurance agent with a company I had been with for over 8 years to go full time in to real estate.
Since then, I’ve completed over 425 transactions, dozens of flips, and loaned on several projects for other investors. I received my real estate license in July 2017. I enjoy teaching and mentoring others in real estate investing. Most of all I enjoy seeing the weight lift from people shoulders when we are able to solve their real estate problems by quickly buying their house.

Tim Kuiper | Construction Project Manager
Tim comes to Region Home Buyers after working as the operations and quality control manager of his family business for 8 years. Tim’s dedication to quality, and his proactive mindset, will ensure each property he works on will be held at a high level of excellence.
Tim is from Schererville, where he lives with his wife of 9 years, his 5 year old son, and 2 year old daughter. In his free time, Tim enjoys playing bass guitar for his band and church, watching sports on TV, and traveling with his family. Tim, his dad, and uncle have flipped 7 houses in the past, and he is looking forward to bringing knowledge from that to his position as construction project manager at Region Home Buyers.
